Golf
Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge are home to five distinct championship golf courses all within 15-minutes drive of one another. Golden Eagle Golf Club offers 36 fun challenging holes divided between the North and South Courses. Meadow Gardens Golf Course offers a championship lay-out, great scenery and excellent facilities. Swan-E-Set Bay Resort Club will take your passion for the game to entirely new lengths. Pitt Meadows Golf & Country Club offers its members and guests an enjoyable course, challenging yet fair, with perfectly manicured lawns and a picturesque backdrop of the Golden Ears Mountains. Hacker's Haven Par 3 Golf Club is a 9-hole course featuring all the hallmarks of great BC golf, with many ravines and tree-lined fairways this can be a difficult but rewarding course.
Trails
Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows offers some of the best hiking/walking trails and wildlife viewing opportunities in the province. Horseback Riding
Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are known as one fo the top horseback riding areas in British Columbia, and for good reason. There are six equestrian schools in the area and at least 10 designated trails for novice and experienced riders.
Heritage Tours
Discover the fascinating history of this area on the popular Port Haney Heritage River Walk. This scenic and culturally rich interpretive walk starts at the Maple Ridge Museum and includes stops at Haney House, Old Post Office, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, a caboose and much more. Golden Ears Provincial Park
Once the site of BC Railroad's largest logging operation, Golden Ears is the most popular provincial park in BC with more then 100,00 campers utilizing the park's 400 sites annually. The park's sparking lakes, cascading waterfalls, lush forests and rugged mountains make it a popular destination for hiking, boating, wildlife viewing, camping, picnicing and swimming.
Circle Farm Tour
This self-guided tour offers a variety of specialty-farm-gate vendors, Saturday farmers markets, charming eateries, fairs and other special events. Sample endless farm-fresh treats, such as honey and blueberries and local fruit; pick up aged, hormone free premium meats for your next bbq; get up close and learn about the magnificent birds of prey, like the hawk, owl and falcons or get lost in a corn maze for the afternoon.
